summer blues

constant onshores.
no swell.
the summertime surf doldrums seem to be upon us.

Get thee to the southern hemisphere.
Chili rock-ledge lefts.
Kiwi picturesque beachies.
Mozambique sharky right points.
Sechelles on a huge swell.
Christmas Island.
Male Pasta Point reveling.
Gnaraloo gnarly gnashings.
Burmese jungle-fed rivermouths.
Goa full-moon early morning sliders.
Tonga, Rapa, Samoa, Tuamotu.

Perfect waves peeling right now.
We're in our cubes.
People are chilling in 75 degree water getting barrelled.

Typekey server is a bit slow today.

Well, I found a new board. After searching clist, the usual websites, and the local shops, I came across a board which was just what I wanted at the price I could pay. SF Surf Shop had a nice 6'6 on their rack. Now it's on my rack. The board - brand new - was only $365! Props to local shapers.

Gotta admit though, Webber has nice boards coming in from Thailand. Flawless foam and glass in the $465 - $495 range including gloss coat. I almost bought one but it just didn't feel right. But, clearly they will be the boards of the future.

Howdy y'all. Here's a few photos from my home break from days ago. The guy getting crunched is my friend Chris.

It's neat what kind of breaks you can create when you have time on your hands.
