SOooo windy no surf

smooth surface, light headwind, agressive spinning cadence, friendly vibe on the road, minimal diesel stinkiness.... morning two wheel commute

And a final note or two... I understand that the waves are small and no bueno during the summer... but why would you go and say, "Damn these waves are fucking crap!!" I don't get it... are you used to surfing world class waves? If so you ought to be able to afford a flight somewhere.

And lastly, if you're sitting inside and try to steal my wave... don't get right in front of me... This happened to me twice, by the same guy, and he didn't even catch them... I don't mind sharing, but when you don't catch them, what's the point? Next time, your getting a longboard up your ass!!!

If you're under 50 years old and 300 lbs and the wave can be ridden with a shortboard, then you have no business sitting outside on your longboard hogging waves. That's a really lame thing to do. Unfortunately it is also quite common these days on the smaller days at Ocean Beach. Get a fucking thruster already.

And don't try to hand me any of this phony Joel Tudor soul bullshit about longboards. Put down the bong and buy a thruster.

I just check this site for the first time. Why are surfers always postering like they're too cool for school? They do it in person and even in internet land. Surfers need to get a clue and learn some coolness from some real cool people like ballroom dancers and yoyo'ers and shit. People who are perceived by the mainstream as dorky but in real life pursue their passion with vigor and commitment, regardless of what society thinks. Because society looks as surfers as the coolest thing since sliced bread, in my book surfers are lame. They're nothing by conformos looking to fulfull some adolescent dream of coolness they once held. Find some authenticity why don't ya.
